Amman: The Southern Military Region: Officers thwarted on Wednesday evening an attempt to smuggle narcotics using a drone along its western frontier, within its area of responsibility. In coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, the border guards detected the drone and engaged it according to rules of engagement, successfully bringing it down within Jordanian territory. The seized narcotics were handed over to the relevant authorities.
