Amman: The army on Sunday successfully thwarted an attempt by two individuals to illegally cross Jordan's northern borders within its area of responsibility. The individuals were intercepted before they could penetrate deeper into Jordanian territory.
According to Jordan News Agency, an official military source at the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) stated that the rules of engagement were applied during the operation. This decisive action led to the arrest of the two infiltrators. Following their capture, the individuals were handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation and processing.
