Amman: The Northern Military Region announced Thursday that it foiled an infiltration attempt after an individual illegally crossed the border within its area of responsibility. A rapid reaction patrol was dispatched, the person was arrested, and referred to the competent authorities.

According to Jordan News Agency, the army also thwarted an attempt to smuggle crystal meth using a drone. The drone, spotted carrying a suspicious object while flying, was intercepted and brought down inside Jordanian territory, with the seized items handed over to the relevant authorities.
