Amman: The Eastern Military Zone has foiled three attempts early Saturday morning to smuggle quantities of narcotics using electronically guided balloons.
According to Jordan News Agency, border guard units detected and intercepted the balloons, bringing them and their cargo down within Jordanian territory in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The statement added the seized narcotics were transferred to the relevant authorities for further action.
