Arrest of 25 Syrians violating residency conditions in Maysan

Al-Amara, Security forces arrested 25 Syrians violating residency conditions in Maysan Governorate. Maysan Police Command said in a statement: "The External Checkpoints Department, based on information received from the Iraqi Intelligence Service, arrested (25) violators of residency conditions of Syrian nationality at the Ali al-Gharbi checkpoint, north of Maysan Governorate." It explained: "Their presence falls under the concept of informal foreign labor," noting that they were referred to the competent authorities in order to complete the legal procedures.
