ASE Closes Higher with JD21.5 Million Turnover

Amman: Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) concluded Monday's trading with a turnover of JD21.5 million, where 7.5 million shares were exchanged across 4,781 transactions. The general share price index rose to 3,861 points, marking a 0.24 percent increase.

According to Jordan News Agency, the financial sector index experienced a significant rise of 0.76 percent. However, the services sector index saw a decline of 0.53 percent, and industrial sector firms decreased by 0.24 percent. Out of the 95 companies listed on the index, 36 reported gains, 24 experienced losses, and the remaining stocks remained steady compared to their previous closing prices.
