ASE Down 0.3% on Wednesday

Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index closed Wednesday at 4,093 points, down 0.3 percent, as the total trading value reached JD14.3 million. A total of 8.4 million shares changed hands through 4,585 transactions.

According to Jordan News Agency, the market saw a broadly lower performance across sectors. The industrial index declined by 0.94%, and the services index decreased by 0.42%. Meanwhile, the financial index experienced a slight dip of 0.03%.

Out of the 110 companies traded on Wednesday, 37 recorded gains, while 35 saw a decrease in their stock prices compared to their previous closing prices.
