Amman: Total trading value on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD16.2 million on Sunday, as 5 million shares were traded through 5,374 transactions. The ASE general price index closed at 3,897 points, marking a decrease of 0.57 percent compared to the last session.
According to Jordan News Agency, at the sector level, the services and industrial indexes experienced declines of 2.02% and 1.07%, respectively. In contrast, the financial benchmark saw a rise of 0.27%.
Out of the 93 companies that were traded, 25 recorded gains in their share prices, while 40 saw declines when compared to their previous closing prices.
