Amman: Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD9.2 million on Thursday, as 3.4 million shares changed hands through 3,540 transactions. The ASE general price index closed at 3,997 points, marking a decrease of 0.14% compared to the last session.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of the 111 companies traded, the share prices of 41 companies rose, while 37 others saw a decline from their previous closing prices. By sector, the industrial and financial indexes experienced declines of 0.60% and 0.03%, respectively, whereas the services benchmark showed no change.
