Amman: Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD8.6 million Sunday, with 4.5 million shares changing hands through 3,305 transactions. The general price index edged up 0.25 percent to reach 4,007 points.
According to Jordan News Agency, the industrial sector index rose 0.86 percent and the financial sector gained 0.14 percent, while the services sector index slipped 0.05 percent. Of the 101 companies traded, 32 posted gains and 37 recorded declines compared with their previous closing prices.
