ASE Index Falls 0.6% to JD6.8M Turnover

Amman: Trading volume of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Wednesday totaled JD6.8 million, with 4.6 million shares exchanged through 3,346 transactions. The ASE general index closed at 3,560 points, marking a decline of 0.6% compared to the previous session.

According to Jordan News Agency, indices of the financial and industrial sectors saw declines of 0.73% and 0.60%, respectively. Additionally, the services sector experienced a decrease of 0.22%. Out of 104 listed companies traded during the session, share prices rose for 29 companies while 41 companies witnessed a decline in their share prices.
