Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) posted a total trading volume of JD32.1 million on Thursday, with 6.6 million shares changing hands across 6,399 contracts. The general share price index closed at 3,954 points, marking an increase of 0.68 percent.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of the 106 companies traded during the session, 37 experienced price gains, while 25 saw declines. At the sector level, the industrial index rose by 3.23 percent, and the services index increased by 0.56 percent. Conversely, the financial sector index showed a slight decrease of 0.01 percent.
