ASE Index Records 0.4% Increase Amid JD13.8 Million Turnover

Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) experienced a trading volume of JD13.8 million on Sunday, with 4.7 million shares changing hands across 3,812 transactions. The benchmark index saw an increase of 0.4 percent, closing at 3,651 points, compared to the previous session.

According to Jordan News Agency, the stock market's performance was marked by varied sectoral outcomes. The industrial index declined by 0.81 percent, whereas the financial and services indexes showed gains of 0.79% and 0.28%, respectively. Out of the 93 listed companies that were traded, 36 companies reported gains while 29 saw a decline in their stock prices compared to their previous closing figures.
