ASE Index Rises by 0.15% Amid JD13.7 Million Turnover

Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index experienced a modest increase of 0.15% on Monday, closing at 3,624 points. The market saw a turnover of JD13.7 million, with 4.5 million shares changing hands through 4,230 transactions.

According to Jordan News Agency, the performance varied across different sectors. The industrial index experienced a decline of 0.73%, while the financial sector saw a gain of 0.43%. The services sector had a minor increase, edging up by 0.08%.

Out of the 104 companies listed on the index, 25 companies recorded gains, 47 saw declines, and the rest remained unchanged from their previous closing values.
