ASE Records 0.23% Decline with JD21.4 Million Turnover

Amman: Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD21.4 million on Tuesday, with 7.4 million shares traded through 5,438 transactions. The ASE general share price index closed at 3,974 points, marking a 0.23% decline.

According to Jordan News Agency, out of the 96 companies traded, 34 experienced an increase in their share prices, while 31 saw a decrease compared to their previous closing prices. The performance varied across sectors, with the services index dropping by 0.46%, the industrial index declining by 0.21%, and the financial index decreasing by 0.12%.
