ASE Records JD 6.4 Million in Trading, Index Declines 0.12%

Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading volume of JD6.4 million on Monday, with 3.5 million shares exchanged across 2,577 transactions. The general share price index closed at 3,423 points, marking a decline of 0.12 percent.

According to Jordan News Agency, the industrial sector index fell by 0.41 percent, the services sector index by 0.14 percent, and the financial sector index by 0.02 percent. Of the 96 companies traded during the session, 29 recorded gains in their share prices, while 35 saw declines.
