Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) experienced a modest rise on Sunday, with its General Index increasing by 0.18 percent to reach 3,939 points. The day's trading activity saw a turnover of JD10.5 million, with 4.9 million shares exchanged across 4,249 transactions.
According to Jordan News Agency, the financial sector index contributed positively with a gain of 0.43 percent, while the services sector index showed a slight increase of 0.01 percent. However, the industrial sector index faced a decline of 0.50 percent. Of the 103 companies whose shares were actively traded, 54 saw their share prices rise, while 26 experienced declines compared to their previous closing prices.
