Amman: Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD11 million on Wednesday, as 4.2 million shares changed hands in 4,428 transactions. The ASE general share price index closed at 3,854 points, experiencing a slight decrease of 0.04% compared with the previous session.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of the 99 listed companies whose shares were traded, 37 saw their stock prices advance, while 30 experienced declines against their previous closing prices. By sector performance, the industrial benchmark index saw a decline of 1.76 percent. In contrast, the services and financial indexes experienced growth, rising by 0.36% and 0.26%, respectively.
