Amman: Trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD6.7 million on Tuesday, after 3.3 million shares were traded through 2,958 transactions. The ASE general index closed the day at 3,033 points, experiencing a decline of 0.49 percent.

According to Jordan News Agency, out of 96 companies whose shares were traded, the share prices of 25 companies increased, while 31 companies saw a decline, and the remaining 40 companies experienced no change in their share prices.

At the sector level, the financial index decreased by 0.48 percent. The industrial benchmark also witnessed a fall, dropping by 0.46 percent, and the services index decreased by 0.35 percent, reflecting a day of overall decline across various sectors at the exchange.
