Amman: The total trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday reached JD13.3 million, with 6.5 million shares traded through 4,507 transactions. The general price index saw a slight rise to 3,424 points, marking an increase of 0.05 percent from the previous session.
According to Jordan News Agency, the services sector index climbed by 0.21 percent, and the financial sector edged up by 0.04 percent. However, the industrial sector benchmark experienced a decline, dropping by 0.24 percent. Out of 107 companies whose shares were traded, 36 companies recorded gains in their share prices, while 33 companies saw a decrease in value.
