Amman: Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD 5 million on Thursday, with 1.7 million shares traded through 1,648 transactions. The ASE general share price index closed at 3,658 points, marking an increase of 0.15 percent from the previous session.
According to Jordan News Agency, at the sector level, the services index rose by 0.21 percent, while the financial index gained 0.14 percent, and the industrial index edged up by 0.05 percent. Among the 79 companies whose shares were traded, 28 posted gains, whereas 17 recorded losses compared with their previous closing prices.
