ASE Turnover Down at JD7M

Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total market turnover of JD7 million on Wednesday, with 3.2 million shares traded through 2,462 transactions. The ASE benchmark index closed lower at 3,425 points, shedding 0.23 percent compared to the previous session.

According to Jordan News Agency, on sectoral performance, the services and industrial indices declined by 0.41% and 0.23%, respectively, while the financial index slipped by 0.14%. Out of 99 listed companies that traded during the session, 26 equities advanced, while 39 went down compared with their previous closing prices.
