Amman: Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) Amr Ezzat Salama met on Sunday at the Association's offices in Amman with the Cultural Attach© at the Libyan Embassy in Jordan, Ahmed Dweik, on academic cooperation.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions focused on supporting Libyan universities, enhancing their academic and administrative capacities and developing training and staff development programmes. Salama praised Dweik's efforts during his tenure in Amman, praising his contribution to advancing Libyan higher education and supporting Libyan students.
He reaffirmed the Association's commitment to expanding cooperation with Libyan universities and fostering joint academic initiatives. For his part, Dweik commended the Association's role in promoting Arab academic collaboration and its continued support for higher education across the region.
