Azhar Imam congratulates Sisi on birth anniv. of Prophet Mohammed

Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet of Mercy and Messenger of Peace and Humanity, peace be upon him, calling on God Almighty on this occasion to bestow goodness, security, stability and prosperity upon the Islamic nation and humanity. The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar stressed that as we celebrate the anniversary, we also celebrate the manifestation of divine enlightenment on all humanity, saying that Prophet Mohammed's appearance in the form of a divine message concluded all messages, spreading peace, love and mercy, and ruling with justice among all. The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar made it clear that our world today is in dire need of Prophet Mohammed's guidance, peace and blessings be upon him, more than ever before, after the global conscience failed to establish peace, end wars and conflicts, and curb the brutal aggression against innocent people in Palestine and other burning areas and hotbeds of conflict around the world.
