Badawi, Shimi Talk Efforts to Maximize Natural Resources

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi has met with Minister of Public Business Sector Mohamed Shimi, where they discussed a number of files of common interest. The meeting comes within the framework of the integration of national efforts and joint coordination between ministries to achieve the desired goals and support the process of construction, development and reform in the new republic. Moreover, the meeting discussed a number of topics, including the work plans of the Ministry of Public Business Sector and the ongoing efforts to maximize the use of natural resources and mineral raw materials available to its subsidiaries. The meeting further tackled work to raise the degree of concentration and purity of raw materials and increase the added value through some manufacturing processes Additionally, the ongoing steps and procedures in the field of energy transition, green economy, and emissions reduction were reviewed.
