Yerevan, Abdulla Khalifa Al Rumaihi, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defence, and National Security Committee in the Council of Representatives, and Ali Hussain Al Shehabi, member of the Shura Council, met with President Vahagn Khachaturyan of Armenia at the conclusion of the International Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Yerevan. The delegation highlighted His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's commitment to supporting and empowering youth as a central part of national development. They acknowledged the executive branch's role in this, under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Al Rumaihi noted Bahrain's strong presence at the conference, with several parliamentary delegations commending its contributions in education, training, and youth empowerment. He also mentioned the broad support for Bahrain's proposed topics at the conference. The delegation held meetings with various parliamentary bodies, including the Armenian Pre sident, Prime Minister, and Parliament, as well as delegations from the Gulf, the UK, Russia, Serbia, and Scandinavian countries, aiming to boost Bahrain's international engagement and showcase its democratic and national progress.
