Doha, Counsellor Mohammed Muqbil, Assistant Undersecretary for State Cases and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the fourth and fifth meetings of the Committee of Heads of International Cooperation and International Relations Departments in the ministries of justice in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which were held in Qatar from August 19-22. The committee discussed draft projects regarding developing the implementation of judgments, deputies and judicial announcements in civil and criminal cases; regulating juvenile crime rules; and GCC unified rules to combat discrimination and hate speech. A report was reviewed on the previous meetings in 2024 and the agenda of the 34th meeting of the ministers of justice of the GCC, scheduled to be held in Qatar next October.
