BERRI MEETS WITH UN SPECIAL COORDINATOR, SWEDISH AMBASSADOR

House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Thursday welcomed UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, with whom he discussed the country's general conditions, as well as political and field developments in light of Israel's continued aggression against Lebanon and Gaza. Berri also received Minister of Justice in the caretaker government, Henry Khoury, discussing recent developments. Among Berri's visitors was Swedish Ambassador Ann Dismorr, who paid him a farewell visit on the occasion of concluding her diplomatic mission in Lebanon. Source: National news agency - Lebanon
