Baghdad Operations Command called on Friday the owners of private transport vehicles to head to the city of Karbala to contribute to the reverse transporting process for pilgrims. Baghdad Operations Command said in a statement that it called on "owners of (private transport) vehicles of all kinds to head to the holy city of Karbala in order to contribute with the security forces and service departments to provide assistance and facilities for the reverse transporting process and transport visitors who have completed the visit rituals from (Karbala to the capital)." The spokesman for the Supreme Security Committee for Securing the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, Brigadier General Muqdad Miri, announced yesterday evening, Thursday, that "the reverse transporting plan has entered into force with the arrival of very large numbers of pilgrims at the same time."
