Health authorities in Canada announced Sunday that 82.76 per cent of the country’s population have been vaccinated with at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 76.88 per cent have received two doses.
Canada is implementing its largest mass vaccination program in history, with tens of thousands of Covid-19 vaccines being administered daily across its provinces and territories, the authorities reported a statement.
On the other hand, 2,253,988 people have been infected to date, 1,888,342 of whom have recovered, while the death toll stood at 30,352 since the outbreak of the pandemic, the statement noted.
