Manama:The Central Bank of Bahrain has announced that the latest monthly issue of the six-month short-term Ijara Murabaha Sukuk has been oversubscribed by 141%.
According to Central Bank Of Bahrain, the BD 50 million issue received subscriptions totaling BD 70.531 million. These Sukuk have a maturity period of 182 days.
The issue is set to begin on 1st October 2026 and will mature on 1st April 2027, with an expected return of 5.77%, an increase from the previous issue's return of 5.60% on 3rd September 2026.
The Ijara Murabaha Sukuk are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This particular issue is identified as 6IM/14 with the ISIN BH00026D9X65 in the short-term Ijara Murabaha Sukuk series.
