Zarqa: Firefighting teams from the Zarqa Civil Defense Directorate extinguished a fire that broke out inside an iron factory covering an area of approximately 1,000 square meters in Zarqa Governorate, the Public Security Directorate spokesperson said on Thursday. According to Jordan News Agency, specialized firefighting crews managed to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby facilities. The incident resulted in injuries to three Asian nationals. Two sustained burns to their bodies, while the third suffered breathing difficulties caused by inhaling smoke and gases emitted from the fire. Ambulance teams provided first aid to the injured before transferring them to Zarqa Government Hospital. Their conditions remain under treatment. Authorities have formed an investigation committee to determine the cause of the fire.
