Chief of Staff of the Army, General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, discussed with the Commander of the NATO Mission in Iraq, Lieutenant General Lucas Schoeres, and his accompanying delegation. The Ministry of Defense stated in a statement that: "During the meeting, aspects of cooperation, coordination and expanding the partnership at the training level were discussed, in addition to providing expertise in all joints of the military institution, to develop the capabilities of the Iraqi army."
