Irbid: A citizen has generously donated a 5.34-dunam plot of land for three years to be used as parking space for visitors to the new Princess Basma Teaching Hospital, Irbid Municipal Committee head Imad Al-Azzam said on Wednesday.
According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Azzam mentioned that the committee has approved the donation and signed an agreement with the landowner. The agreement stipulates that the municipality will complete and prepare the site, while the donor will take responsibility for fencing the land and planting trees. These efforts aim to provide shade for cars and enhance the overall appearance of the parking area.
He further stated that the municipality has made efforts to level nearby land to expand parking options around the hospital. Additionally, another site has been prepared in front of the hospital to accommodate approximately 50 cars, addressing the parking needs of visitors.
