Civil Defense teams have fully controlled the fire that broke out inside the "World Water Factory" in Basra. A Civil Defense source stated: "The firefighting teams rushed to the fire site, and began implementing extinguishing and cooling operations inside the corridors of the factory, and completed their control over the fire, without recording any human injuries." He added: "The Civil Defense requested an investigation to be opened at the police station responsible for the geographical area concerned, and to summon a forensic expert to determine the causes that led to the outbreak of the fire."
