Civil Defense Handles Over 1,700 Emergency Cases in a Day

Amman: The Directorate-General of Civil Defense at the Public Security Directorate (PSD) reported that it managed 1,752 ambulance cases in the past 24 hours, achieving an average response time of 7 minutes and 36 seconds.

According to Jordan News Agency, the civil defense teams also addressed 152 rescue incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 33 seconds, and 163 firefighting incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds.

The directorate further noted that 48 hours prior, the teams attended to 1,640 ambulance cases, maintaining an average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds. They also responded to 163 rescue incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 33 seconds, and 106 firefighting incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 34 seconds.
