Civil Defense Responds to 1,264 Emergencies in 1 Day

Amman: The Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) said Saturday its crews handled 1,264 various accidents and emergencies across the Kingdom in the past 24 hours, including ambulance, rescue, and firefighting operations.

According to Jordan News Agency, the CDD reported that its crews responded to 1,056 emergencies in an average of 7:35 minutes, conducted 128 rescue operations in about 7:34 minutes, and attended to 80 fires in 7:31 minutes. The CDD emphasized the readiness of field crews to promptly manage incidents around the clock to protect citizens and their property.
