Civil Defense Responds to Over 1,200 Incidents in a Day

Amman: The Civil Defense Directorate reported that its teams managed 1,219 incidents over the past 24 hours. These incidents included 1,026 emergencies, 123 rescue operations, and 70 fires, with a recorded average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds.

According to Jordan News Agency, the average response times for different types of incidents varied slightly, with emergency responses averaging 7 minutes and 36 seconds, rescue operations at 7 minutes and 34 seconds, and firefighting efforts at 7 minutes and 35 seconds.

The directorate emphasized its preparedness to handle incidents at any time, backed by fully equipped personnel. It also called on the public to adhere to safety and prevention guidelines to help mitigate potential risks.
