Amman: The Civil Service Consumer Corporation has announced the launch of a series of discounts and promotional offers on more than 350 food and non-food items across all its markets. These offers, which began on Wednesday, will continue until the evening of Sunday, Nov. 2, with price reductions ranging from 7 to 45 percent.
According to Jordan News Agency, Acting Director General Issam Al-Jarrah emphasized in a statement on Tuesday that the discounts will focus primarily on essential goods such as rice, sugar, vegetable oils, tea, powdered milk, legumes, and tahini. In addition to these, cleaning and household items are also included in the promotional offers. These discounts are available at all 69 corporation outlets throughout the kingdom, ensuring sufficient quantities to meet consumer demands.
Al-Jarrah urged consumers to visit the corporation's official Facebook page for detailed information on the discounted products and their pricing. He highlighted that the initiative is designed to provide basic goods at affordable prices while maintaining high quality standards, thereby helping to ease the financial burden on citizens.
The timing of these discounts has been strategically planned to coincide with salary disbursement periods to maximize public benefit. Additionally, consumers have the option to order items online through the "Averat" delivery app, which is available on both Android and iOS platforms in cities such as Amman, Zarqa, Irbid, Madaba, and Balqa. Residents of the capital can also order through the corporation's online store at www.jcsccshop.gov.jo or via its mobile app, "Civil Consumer Store."
