Amman: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II chaired a meeting of the National Council for Future Technology, focusing on the outcomes of the recent FutrForum 2025 and directing new technological initiatives. The meeting included discussions on expanding e-government services and exploring technological solutions for traffic congestion.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting was attended by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, who serves as the chairman of the Council. The attendees reviewed the recommendations from the inaugural FutrForum 2025, held on September 2-3 in collaboration with the World Economic Forum. Crown Prince Al Hussein emphasized the importance of implementing the digital signature project through the Ministry of Justice to enhance the accessibility of e-government services via the Sanad application.

The Crown Prince further instructed the Council to investigate the potential of technology in mitigating traffic congestion, highlighting the need for innovative solutions to improve urban mobility. These directives aim to streamline government services and address infrastructure challenges in the kingdom.
