Amman: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Regent, met with France Minister Delegate for the Armed Forces and Veterans Alice Rufo at Al Husseiniya Palace. The discussion focused on regional developments and enhancing defence cooperation between Jordan and France.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Crown Prince emphasized the necessity of achieving comprehensive regional calm. He expressed concern about the situation in the West Bank and highlighted the importance of increasing international efforts to stop the escalation there. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain, and France Ambassador to Jordan Franck Gellet.
