Ajloun: The Crown Prince Foundation organized two dialogue sessions on Thursday at its office in Ajloun Governorate, focusing on successful leadership to enhance youth leadership skills and build their personal and professional capacities. Held at the Ajloun Cultural Center, the sessions attracted young participants from various backgrounds and were also broadcast live on the Foundation’s social media pages. Leadership and self-development expert Salim Sawalha, an executive director in the banking sector, led the discussions.
According to Jordan News Agency, Sawalha delivered a presentation titled “How to Be an Inspiring Leader in Your Work and Life?”, emphasizing the “360-degree leadership” theory, which starts with self-leadership. He highlighted the significance of self-awareness, discipline, motivation, continuous development, effective time management, adaptability, and a growth mindset. The interactive sessions allowed participants to share their perspectives, with Sawalha addressing their questions and offering insights on leadership and self-improvement.
Ruba Shaaban, a 25-year-old pharmacy graduate, noted that the training sessions provided by the Foundation helped her develop essential professional skills, expand her network, and improve her confidence in public speaking. She emphasized that the leadership concepts discussed during the session complemented her personal experiences. Similarly, Ali Qudah, a 21-year-old computer science student at Ajloun University College, described the session as enriching, with real-life success stories and insights into self-development and decision-making. He highlighted the importance of such training opportunities in equipping young people with both technical and personal skills.
Established in 2015 under the vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince Foundation aims to empower youth through three main pillars: economic participation, leadership, and sustainable community development. The leadership sessions form part of a broader range of initiatives by the Foundation, which operates across all Jordanian governorates, offering programs in leadership, entrepreneurship, vocational training, and self-development. With a goal of reaching over 2.2 million young people annually, the Foundation collaborates with local and regional partners to maximize its impact and create meaningful opportunities for youth.
