Amman: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II accompanied India Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a visit to the Jordan Museum, which documents the story of Jordan's ancient civilizations and showcases the Kingdom's cultural and historical heritage.
According to Jordan News Agency, during a tour of the museum, the Crown Prince and the Indian prime minister were briefed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, vice-chair of the museum's board of trustees, about the exhibition titled "Jordan: Land of Innovation, Continuity and Change." The exhibition highlights Jordanians' innovative solutions to challenges related to water, food, energy, and communication throughout history.
The tour included an overview of the Ain Ghazal statues, discovered in Jordan and dating back to approximately 10,000 BC. A bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the museum visit saw both sides emphasize their readiness to strengthen relations across various fields. They highlighted initiatives and projects of the National Council for Future Technology and explored cooperation prospects in education, technical and vocational training, and technology.
His Royal Highness and Prime Minister Modi also signed the museum's guestbook, marking their visit to the institution, which serves as a repository of ideas, knowledge, and culture, connecting ancient innovations with the aspirations of Jordanians. The Crown Prince later bid farewell to Prime Minister Modi at Queen Alia International Airport as he departed Jordan.
