According to Jordan News Agency, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Imad Hijazin stated that the Crown Prince's active involvement reflects a deep understanding of tourism as a primary engine of the national economy. Hijazin emphasized that the sector plays a critical role in generating sustainable employment, stimulating capital investment, and driving local community development across all governorates by leveraging the Kingdom's vast archaeological and historical wealth.
Hijazin added that the Crown Prince's field visits to historical and natural landmarks provide invaluable momentum for national promotional efforts, positioning Jordan as an integrated destination that blends ancient heritage with rich cultural experiences. Echoing these sentiments, Jordan Hotels Association Chairman Hussein Hilalat noted that the Crown Prince's active promotion of various sites has been instrumental in projecting a modern and welcoming image of Jordan to the world. Hilalat pointed out that royal support for the hospitality sector is evidenced by the recent opening of major hotel investments and continuous follow-up on expansion projects, particularly within the Aqaba Special Economic Zone, which serves to enhance the overall investment environment.
Jordan Society of Tourism and Travel Agents Chairman Mahmoud Khasawneh described the Crown Prince's engagement as a powerful form of soft power that showcases Jordan's thousands of years of human history. Khasawneh explained that international markets view high-level leadership involvement as a powerful signal of confidence, reinforcing Jordan's reputation as a secure, stable, and highly rewarding travel destination.
