Culture Minister Reviews Progress of Cultural Projects in Jerash

Jerash: Minister of Culture Mustafa Rawashdeh, accompanied by Ministry Secretary-General Nidal Ayasrah and Director of the Jerash Culture Directorate Oqla Qadri, inspected several cultural projects and sites in Jerash Governorate to review progress and assess the level of completion.

According to Jordan News Agency, Rawashdeh began his tour with a visit to the Jerash Cultural Center, where he reviewed the final stages of ongoing work ahead of its official opening. He highlighted the center's importance as a cultural platform and incubator for creativity and local talent, calling for the completion of remaining work according to the highest artistic standards.

During the tour, Rawashdeh praised the quality of the completed work and directed continued efforts to develop the cultural scene in Jerash. The tour included Ali Basha Al-Kayed Palace, where the minister reviewed completed works on the site, emphasizing the significance of reviving the palace for its historical and cultural value.

The minister concluded his tour with a visit to the Deer Reserve to inspect the Culture Street project and the planned library, in addition to reviewing artistic murals funded by the Ministry of Culture that reflect the aesthetic and heritage character of the governorate.
