Amman: The Dow Jones Industrial Average, the largest U.S. stock market index, fell 307 points on Monday to 51,841, a decline of 0.59%. The Nasdaq Composite slipped 12 points to 25,508, while the S and P 500 fell about 14 points to 7,443.
According to Jordan News Agency, U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was little changed at $83.12 a barrel. This stability in oil prices comes amidst fluctuations in the stock market, suggesting a divergence between equity markets and commodity prices.
