Amman: The Eastern Military Zone: The Eastern Military Zone successfully thwarted two attempts to smuggle a significant quantity of narcotics along its border front at dawn on Wednesday. The narcotics were being transported using balloons equipped with advanced electronic guidance systems. Border Guard units effectively intercepted the balloons, ensuring that the illicit cargo was brought down within Jordanian territory.
According to Jordan News Agency, the operation was executed in close coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized narcotics have been handed over to the competent authorities for further legal processing.
