Amman: The Electricity Distribution Company (EDCO) has announced its commitment to allocate 5% of its net income after taxes to support the government's social responsibility project for the fiscal years 2025, 2026, and 2027, as stated by Hazem Al-Rahahleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Rahahleh explained that the decision by the Board of Directors to distribute a portion of the company's profits is in line with its goal to support national priorities, contribute to the community, and enhance the quality of services for residents.
Al-Rahahleh highlighted that the allocated funds will be directed towards specific initiatives and areas within the scope of social responsibility. This initiative is part of EDCO's ongoing efforts to increase its community involvement and achieve sustainable development in its concession regions.
The chairman further noted that this decision aligns with the company's mission and strategy to provide exceptional services to its subscribers, while also supporting the government's social responsibility initiatives.
