Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs Najwa Qubeilat, on Friday, said that a total of 136,855 students have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine so far, while 102,635 have received the second dose.
Qubeilat noted that the ministry has the parental approval of 37,295 students to take the vaccine.
The ministry has allowed students who are between 12 to 17 to take the vaccine with the approval of the parent, She said.
