Amman: The Ministry of Education has announced revised official school hours, which will take effect from November 2nd until the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry issued a circular to Jordan's education directorates on Thursday detailing the new schedule.
In single-shift schools, the morning assembly will commence at 8:15 a.m., with the first class starting at 8:30 a.m. and continuing for 45 minutes. For double-shift schools, the morning shift will also begin assembly at 8:15 a.m., with classes starting at 8:30 a.m. For the afternoon shift, assembly will begin at 12:50 p.m., and the first class will start at 1:00 p.m.
The ministry has indicated that the duration of each class in both morning and evening shifts will be 35 minutes, as the traditional five-minute break has been removed.
